Congrats on your finds! I was born in '86 so too young to have had any of the iconic 80s Barbies the first time around, but they are now my second favourite (my favourite era for Barbie is the '60s). Your little collection is lovely! I adore Whitney becase I, like many other collectors, am a sucker for the Steffie face.

I've got two NRFB Crystal Barbies on the way and I've found 2 or 3 nude ones, which I'm piecing together outfits for. I've started piecing together some Peaches 'n Cream Barbies, too as well as a Great Shape Barbie and Magic Moves Barbie (who no longer moves) I want to complete outfits for. I have a Pink & Pretty Barbie in a near-complete outfit and Perfume Pretty Barbie. I've got a few other 80s Barbies. Outside the 80s...well...my collection is kind of big, but not as big as some. Ha.

I haven't come across any comprehensive websites in my years collecting - there were so many releases of Barbie and Barbie's friends/families in the US alone, not to mention exclusives to Europe, etc., that I'm not sure if it would be possible. I know there are a few books, which are themselves often hard to come by, that some of my Flickr friends refer to. Maybe going through the 1980s Barbie Dolls flickr group would be a good start? Some people add photos that aren't of 80s Barbies but it's the only thing I can think of.

I think the outfits and themes were super fun in the 80's.  Western Barbie from 1981 is a classic doll from the 80's too but her face is one of the scariest Barbie faces out there!

Hahaha, yes, I have a Western Barbie and her eyes are all melted, as usual. Poor thing! I like that the European release was just the regular Superstar face.

Thanks for the link!  I added it to my favorites list.
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.
