I'm not a huge fan myself. I like some articulation and these gals are too stiff for me. However, Rainbow Rocks Rarity (and the Trixie for that matter) are REALLY taunting me! I will probably get Rarity.

kissthethunder I did question whether I should buy another Draculaura but well I couldn't resist hehehe when she arrives I'll have five of her.

Galactica, If the Trixie has the same articulation as the deluxe dolls I might be swayed in to buying her too.

brittany_rochelle, it has taken me a long time to even consider buying any of the EG dolls, I didn't like them at all from the beginning. I've seen some nice photos though  :)

I did see some in TRU in the summer but just the basic ones and I don't really like the painted on tops of the basics. Or the lack of movability. Because I'm a collector of MH I like my dolls to have some articulation because I like to pose them. I knew if I ever got an EG doll it would be a Pinkie Pie though

The basic ones are pretty ugly, must admit :( The painted tops make them look half-naked, as it reminds me of the painted-on underwear that the larger Polly Pockets had! I've been looking at some on ebay but the quality on some of them is so dodgy I'd really want to buy it in person >.<
Idly searching for: loose, good condition G4 Blossomforth, Starbeam Twinkle, Plumsweet. TTM Celestia doll's wings Within UK or EU only, please.
Will also take in Pretty Pony Club (UK magazine) fakies.

I've heard people complain of quality, I vaguely remember someone who wanted to buy a Fluttershy and everyone they saw looked dirty inside the box and you could see scratches on the body. I guess quality control isn't important to Hasbro anymore.

I'll most likely only be buying the deluxe dolls anyway. And yeh the whole painted on thing reminded me of other dolls like little polly pockets and others I've bought in the past where things are painted on. It doesn't look good.

Yeah some are dirty, but I just clean them up ok with a wipe which I do anyway when I get them.  I have yet to come across one with bad hair though. All mine are silky smooth  even my super long hair Rainbow Dash.  I don't like the gel stuff they put in RD's AJ's and Pinkies fringes though, but that washed/combed out fine :D

I do like the deluxe dolls, I only have deluxe Rarity and I love her, the joints make her nicer to pose and easier to dress :)

Dont get me wrong I am really not a massive fan of taking MLP and almost going "mainstream" by turning it into dolls. I could happily live without the whole EQG thing. However, they are here and they exist and while deciding to accept them, I purchased Rarity and I actually really like her!

So congrats on adding Pinkie to your collection - I love the black streaks in her hair!
