I made him 14 years ago and his symbol was drawn on with a Sharpie, so....it has bled quite a bit now and looks kind of terrible. lol! At least I have this pic from back when he looked ok. It took me forever to find a fakie pony with orange hair that I could steal for him.

I think this thread is really neat, you can really see how far we've come from when we first started, it's hard to believe some of these are firsts too, they look so wow

This is the pony version of Mr. CoinOp and myself based off of our wedding photo (the dress on the "me" pony is actually made from part of my wedding gown).  They're incredibly sticky, and Mr. CoinOp has requested that I remake them at some point in the future.

This is the pony version of Mr. CoinOp and myself based off of our wedding photo (the dress on the "me" pony is actually made from part of my wedding gown).  They're incredibly sticky, and Mr. CoinOp has requested that I remake them at some point in the future.

Coin Op, that it's so cute. I've also used parts of my wedding dress for art related to my hubby and I (painting) and I also used parts of my dress and his shirt and tie to cover our hope chest/ottoman at the end of our bed.

This was my first one, my SO got me the blank pony to customize for fun so I tried it out. Made her in 2012 and have only made a few blind bag ponies and a couple of fakie customs since then…but planning to do many more!

This thread is great! I've not done any customs yet, though I would like to try customizing some blind bags some time. Some of these don't look like firsts at all! But even the ones that do are so adorable, you  just gotta love 'em!

I love these threads!  I'm actually pretty proud of my first customs, I was working on 4 at the same time.  While one coat of paint was drying, I'd do the next coat on the next pony, then just keep rotating through all 4 of them!    It was a bit ambitious of me, but I'd read lots of tutorials and I just went for it lol.

All 4 got FBRs and the 2 Vessas have sculpted horns.

And immediately following those, I chopped the back legs off another pony and made a merpony.  But that was a whole different can of worms lol.
