Daughter is adding her ponies to my herd:)

I've given my daughter some G1s and G2s that are not perfect. She's 7 and at first she played with them. Now she wants to add them to the shelf where I display my collection. She seems excited to be a pony collector like mom!    She's normally a daddy's girl so I'm loving it!
Anyone else have stories like this? I'd love to hear them!

My children have both ponies they play with and ponies they display. How very cool that your DD likes to collect.

My two girls (4&5yrs) have a decent herd of G3's and a couple of baity g1's. They really are play things for them so they get dolled up, have weddings, go on indiana jones style adventures and hang upside down on my A frame clothes airer (gotta love those g3 magnetic hooves).

So whilst they aren't really 'collection' ponies, they do have a special ritual however....

If Mummy gets a pony parcel, suddenly there's a herd to greet the newcomer!! I usually get to open my parcel, then I have to walk away for a minute or two while the newbie gets a dozen introductions and makes new friends

Oh thats so sweet, teacher! Just goes to show how much she loves and appreciates her toys! I hope she continues to grow into being a pony collector with you.
