MLP Collectible Glasses?

I was visiting the antique mall today and one thing I always notice there is all the collectible glasses from care bears to star wars that there are.

I was just wondering if MLP ever had any collectible glasses?

There's some retro glasses done in the G1 "new art" style, you can find them in shops right now. Around here they're at Newbury Comics.

Urban Outfitters has a mug with the new-style G1 ponies on them.

Clare has a china G3 breakfast set she's had over ten years, consists of cereal bowl, mug and egg cup

Tumblers, china, cutlery and several other food/drink related merch, yes, but other than some clear plastic tumblers, I don't believe there was any G1 glasses. The merch target market was probably too young for actual glassware. That tends to be the case for most toys which have a young market.

The glassware you will have seen are Pizza Hut glasses. Back in the 80s for $1 or $2 you in the US you could buy a glass which you took away with you; they came with a variety of characters Care Bears, Star Wars, Muppets were just a few. I dont think they ever were a Hasbro licensee for the product so no Hasbro lines made it.

At the Scottish Festival this past summer, there was a booth where they'd put pictures on glass bottles and glasses for you. They had some shot glasses with Ponies. LOL.

Not necessarily 'collectible' yet, but my SO picked up some G4 glasses at an HMV recently; one with Rainbow Dash and the other with Princess Twilight Sparkle.
