My favorites are Swedish so no need to translate, lol. But I really like Sarah Brightmans christmas album and Blackmore's Night are playing sometimes as well.

Griffin, I didn't know Loreena McKennit had a christmas album! I have to check it out, I love her music!

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I went and listened to Sarah Brightman's A Winter Symphony - ah gosh, such pretty songs and her voice is so soft and soothing.
Oh and I wanted to mention Celtic Woman - an all-female Irish group - has some very pretty holiday songs also.

And I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra...though anytime I hear Christmas Eve/Sarajevo or Carol of the Bells I cant help part of my brains sings "give a,give a, give a Garmin", darn commercials LOL.
Anything in the prog rock category I tend to like, haha.... speaking of... Mannheim Steamroller!!!!!

It might be easier to name the few songs I don't like! I LOVE Christmas music! I play it nonstop from Thanksgiving to New Year's. I also listen to my CDs whenever the mood strikes during the year. It could be over 100 degrees in August and I'll have to hear "Jingle Bells."

I like Trans-Siberian Ochestra. My family has been to several of their concerts in past years and they are great memories of time we spent together having fun. I have 3 of their cds.

I found a Bing Crosby Christmas CD at Dollar Tree last year and I love it as well as other's that style. I was listening to this on my phone the other day while wrapping gifts

I used to have a cassette of Christmas songs when I was a kid called Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree that I absolutely loved and would listen to over and over again.  It had a great collection of songs.

Bing Crosby... I just love that guy too. He has some history with the area I live. He helped build the Bing Crosby Stadium here back in the late 40s/early 50s and donated a bunch of money to it!!! He was also Grand Marshal of our big parade the Apple Blossom Festival.

I love The Nutcracker ballet. Other than that I don't much care for holiday music or carols. I worked in retail for a long time and had to listen to non stop Christmas music from Thanksgiving the Christmas Eve 40+ hours a week. Drove me crazy after the first few days, every year!

I know what you mean about retail. The same few songs over and over and same commercials too.

I've never been big on x-mas music. If I'm being forced to listen to it at a store I prefer the classics.
...as odd as it is I can stand Mariah Carey's x-mas stuff when it comes on the radio occasionally
