Nice pony moment in the museum today

I've been volunteering at a local social history museum and last week we dressed the museum for Christmas with different rooms for different eras, 'A Time Travellers Christmas'. Today we hosted events in costume and my area was the attic toy room dressed as an 80's Christmas. Lots of adults remembered toys like My Little Pony, Trolls and Etch a Sketch with me. I had a badge maker and made badges with the children. I showed one little girl my Pinkie Pie is Best Pony' badge and she made a 'Rarity Rules' badge with her cutie mark in blue and purple. A lovely pony morning!

'A Time Travellers Christmas' - oh I love that!!! This sounds like a lot of fun and I'm glad you had a good time! I love museums, but plus ponies and 80s stuff = awesome.

Cambridge can be a weird place where everyone is very serious and reserved, but there are other pony fans it seems! Although when I gave Tutti Frutti to one Dad to hold and said " isn't it funny how much bigger toys were in the 80's? It's funny, it's made of vinyl and it's porous, do you think it feels a bit wierd? Like skin?"... no response  I think that was a step too far...
