I hate searching for 'vintage mlp' and getting G3s in the results, or searching for lots and getting single ponies in the results. Makes me want to slap ebay every time!

I hear you!!

+"my little pony" + lots - G4

Most of the G4 gets excluded, and hopefully poor condition garage sale type lots are found.

But why do overpriced $12 singles pop up?!

I haven't bought anything off eBay for months.
And I'm done searching for lots.  Most of the lots are G3 anyway, which is still ok as far as looks go.

Ugh I wont even bother looking for ponies at auctions sites with problems like these . I also get annoyed with the local crags list they say they have ponies but there are never any pics. If you do ask to see pictures you are never replied to.

One day when this was happening to me I got so irritated I went on a reporting rampage and reported every single G3 lot being promoted as "vintage" and made before the 90's when "they were clearly made in the 2000s."

Remember some non pony people don't know what they have and they assume they have "vintage" ponies or think they might make a lot more money by listing that way

I think that's definitely true Clarice .I see it in a lot of vintage auctions in general not just MLP .The number of 80's & 90's dresses listed as genuine 40's & 50's is just ridiculous! A lot of it can be put down to ignorance on the sellers part but there are definitely those out there that are purely trying to con people which is very sad:/
