She really does look like a pinup but what is it that makes that effect?I think a lot of G3 poses (especially the Diva pose) in general make ponies look classy, model-esque and a little sultry at the same time. The big eyes/eyelashes, tilted heads and subtle, slightly cheeky smiles make them look appealing. Sailors and boat-themed things like sailor collars, stripes, ropes, beams and rigging, etc. are a common background element in pinups - being on a boat or in the water allows a lady to justify wearing less clothing. So the long, carefully styled hair with the coloured stripes and the rope/anchor adds to the look. And, this may sound odd, but next to Salty... the fact that she's actually not wearing any clothes comes across a lot stronger.

That is what gives me the pinup, Betty Page-esque vibe.
