Unclaimed WIP - how to finish?
« on: November 19, 2013, 10:43:08 PM »
This WIP was originally for a private swap that was agreed to over 2 years ago. That person has sadly had to step away from collecting and customizing (months and months ago). I still have work to do on the wings, but I'm stumped as to what to do to finish her since I'm not going to finish her in the original paint/hair scheme. Open to suggestions or being commissioned to finish it.

*edit. I got some mohair in that has given me inspiration. however, I will leave it open to commission to finish while I finish sculpting (which will probably be a couple months)

That exactly. I could be interested, depending on the money involved.

I think a dark color scheme would work brilliantly like dark red/purple/black he looks like he should be flying away from a hell dimension lol

LOL!  It's so funny that you said that, because I was thinking that it'd look stunning in white, silvers and pale blues!

I don't have a firm price in mind. With all the sculpting for her feet, horns, and the 4 wings if I finish him/her on my own and sell it would be something around $150-200. At this point, I'm open to negotiations, trades or partial trades (mainly if you have nirvana ponies), and payment plans.

It's a shame this project fell through for you Roogna, you've done an awesome job on it thus far! The wings are amazing of course, but I love the feathered hooves and horns just as much! I really hope you're ale to work out a possible commission to finish it, you deserve it, but even if you end up just finishing it for an open sale, I don't think you'll have a problem selling it; it's amazing so far and it will be awesome when you get to painting! Can't wait to see the final result.

As for suggestions, I actually picture it in the paler color scheme too - possibly because of the base color & lack of paint yet. It would look awesome in anything though, you've got a great foundation built already ^^
sig image coming back soon, oops!

something in a golden-creme-ish colour scheme would look fab too!
