Anyone know the eBay member Gargamellona from Italy?

Have you sold to her before? I am having a bit of a nightmare with her.

Basically I sent her ponies like 3 weeks ago...anyway she messaged me yesterday asking where they are...tracking says the parcel was attempted to be delivered at her house on the 12th according to tracking. So I said to her, there is nothing I can do now, they are in your country, tracking says so. To cut a very long story short she says I must have written her address wrong because of the way it is written on the receipt.

I said , no, in England the number always comes before the address so it's just printed out that way on the receipt. But on the package I HAND WROTE THE LABEL IN THE CORRECT WAY as her address is written in eBay.

She keeps saying that my post office must have written the address wrong.

I keep telling her that in the UK! the post office does not bloody touch the parcel! they just take my money and give me a receipt.

So where do I stand in the case of a dispute, just in case she opens one? Surely eBay will side with me, right?

"Attempted delivery" means they try a few times and then send it back to you.   I think you have to refund her or work out a re-ship.    *pony hugs*  Super frustrating!

Typically there is some kind of card left, if she's not answering the door but there's not blame to be placed yet.  She can call her post office and follow the tracking on their side.

Yeah, have her check her Post office to see if they are holding a parcel for her.  Good luck sweetie, your not having much luck lately

If she opens a case and your tracking information shows "attempted delivery" and the buyer does not pick up the item, the buyer looses their buyer protection and ebay will side with you and close the case in your favor.

I believe the post office gives the buyer so many days to pick up item, if it is not picked up in that time, it will be shipped back to you. I would tell her that she needs to go to her PO and see if the parcel is there, the address obviously is not the issue because they did try to deliver it. So it's either sitting at her PO or it is in transit back to you.

Thanks Ponylady, I feel better now! Also....she didn't reply to my last message when I asked if she was a member here. Yet she was replying to my previous messages almost instantly.
