I love this character! I would definitely get a Funko, but I'm not into talking toys. If it was a silent Fashion Style version, I'd need to see it first, before I'd decide, but I just can't imagine Hasbro doing her justice. I don't need her to be 100% show accurate, I just need her to look good. I could imagine her being very cute as a "baby" Chrysalis in the normal FS mold with modified wings.

I think you were probably thinking of the larger, flapping wings, push button to talk type ones, though, which I have no interest in.

See, I don't really mind the FS versions of Celestia, Luna, and, if they made her, Chrysalis, because I see them as chibi representations (and I'm a sucker for the adorable). But I'm very much looking forward to the more true to form Funko releases and I'll be disappointed if they don't end up making a Chrysalis.

Normally, I prefer to only have one figure/toy of each character, but in this case I think they'd be different enough that it wouldn't bother me. I could accept both a chibi and an accurate version because I really like both styles. I don't actually believe that Hasbro would make a FS Chrysalis in the same style/mold as the mane 6, and frankly I don't really have the faith left in Hasbro to pull it off well if they did, but still I wouldn't rule it out as impossible that it might be something I could like.

In fact, I find it impossible to believe that somebody hasn't done a custom of this yet... *goes looking*

I think that's cute. I'd buy it, but it wouldn't make me not want a Funko.

I think they would be more likely to make a large talking version, however. They've already done Nightmare Moon and she turned out nice. I didn't get her since I already had the one from the favorites set and I'm not in to that style of toy, but I'll admit she was nice. I could imagine them doing the same with Chrysalis and I'm sure she'd be fairly nice also, but still I wouldn't buy her in that form. I already have too many different sizes (blindbag, McD's, brushable, FS, Funko), I don't need to start buying another.

I would LOVE a show accurate version. Must have holes. Must have correct wings and body shape... and teeth.

Yep yep. If they're going to go all out with a fashion style, this is a must. Especially the holes-- they would look even more ridiculous on a larger toy.

And she must absolutely NOT come with barrettes or dress up accessories.  And she may NOT tell me to comb her hair! Nope, nope, nope. I want phrases about world domination, her horde and maybe flufflepuff.

Nah...I like my ponies all in scale so if I wanted her I would be happy with the current release. But oddly I am not a fan of her in general so she would be an easy skip for me. Would be very very interesting to see what could be done with her if she was styled properly though by Funko or someone.
