Ideas on making a pony schoolhouse?

I just got the cutie mark crusaders and friends collection the other day and now I want to display them in a schoolhouse. Either find one or make something. Oh hasbro you missed the mark on that one! Grr.

So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

What about a bird house?  Some are shaped pretty similarly to the "classic" school house.  You could paint it and add a school bell and stuff and it would look really cute.  However, you would have to display the ponies outside of it as opposed to in it.

You could always try a school house from another toy line in a similar size.  I can't think of anything, but I'm sure some toy line has something along those lines.  I have seen ponies displayed with accessories and buildings from other toy lines before, and I think that it can look really good, especially if the scale is good.  I have seen photos of ponies in play mobile sets and it looked absolutely fabulous.  Perfect scale, nice colors, tons of accessories, the whole nine yards.  Maybe there is a play mobile school?

Yea I was thinking around the same lines. I know there is a vintage school house that would work but being vintage not cheap.
I was going to look in my local arts and crafts store cause I know they have wood type buildings including bird houses. Nice to have some input thanks! And one can never have too many ideas, keep them coming!

Plastic canvas! Mary Maxim even has a schoolhouse kit for sale. I don't know if the scale would work, it's worth a look.

during the holiday walmart has a lot of themed bird feeders.
used to have schools, churches etc. not sure if they still do, but worth a look.
nice thing is the bird feeders are easy to open and can play with easier.

They aren't much on ebay especially since I don't need the accessories; and it's the perfect size and opens up nicely too. Even looks similar to the one on the show.

Now I'll just have to figure out little desks...hmmm...

I love that Lil Woodzeez School House!

As long as you are not looking for it complete if you keep an eye out on ebay UK you should eventually manage to pick up the G1 school house. And although its only a facade, the G4 school house is on ebay occasionally too

i found this when i was hunting through sylvanian families playsets for G4 brushables and thought how awesome it was

my boyfirend made a pony school house for me we got a beat up old Fisher price school house and recovered it in some bright contact paper I'll have to take a picture and post it.
