What collection would you gift to someone who doesnt collect

If you were going to give someone who isn't a pony fan a small( up to 10) collection of ponies, who would it be,  what would you give them and why? Can be from any generation and any line.
I would give my husband:
Big mac blind bag because he dressed up as him for halloween
Granny Smith bb -he really likes her, (I make him watch the show )
G1 daddy, mommy and daughter apple delight family because we live on a tree farm Tux n  Tails -cause he is soo handsome
Quarteback -he played highschool football
Baby satchel- he aalways carries a satchel
Baby ribs - he loves dragons
And a baby ballerina as our daughter

I wouldn't. I'd just keep them all for myself. I wouldn't want to give someone ponies if they weren't a fan. I'd want them to go to a home where they are loved and cherished... like my house. >:3

If anything, I'd probably give blind bags away as cute trinkets. They're small and don't take up too much room. They can even be turned into keychains so they won't cause too much clutter. I'd give blind bag ponies away probably based just on the favorite colors of the people I'm giving them to.

I have suggested giving a small collection to my mom, who is an admirer of mine. If I did, it would obviously contain Crumpet, she's probably her favourite of my ponies. She even sort of swayed me to get the one I have... Perhaps Baby Crumpet as well, because she would like the idea. Mamma's newest plan is that I should find a Nurse Tenderheart (she's an ICU nurse). On learning that Nurse Ponies exist, she asked to see them and picked a favourite. Or should I say grail? She prefers that the ponies live with me though, not enough of a fan to start a collection of her own.

I've actually bought ponies for a non-collector just last week. My niece is turning two years old this month and I thought that some not-mint-yet-not-bait G1 ponies would be good toys for her, seeing as they're quite a bit larger and softer coloured than anything on the shelves these days. Pleasing to the eye and not a choking hazard. According to my older brother she's quite obsessed with jungle animals, so I've gotten her a Kingsley, Zig Zag, Spunky and Creamsicle for friends, and also a regular Sundance. If I were to expand on her little collection to 10 ponies, I would get a pegasus (Firefly?) and their baby, a unicorn (Glory?) and their baby, and either a sitting earthie (probably Seashell) or an original six (probably CF Butterscotch).

Hmmm...I would go with some pony classics.

Cotton Candy, Majesty, Firefly, Gusty, Sundance, Minty, Baby Blossom, Bow Tie, Applejack and of course a Baby Fifi Everyone should have a Baby Fifi.

I might give a blindbag pony for laughs. I don't see the point of giving someone something they really don't care about.

I have given my mom some of my doubles, mostly G4s. She's not a collector, but she actually wants and likes the ponies. She even asks me sometimes if I have got any more doubles.

I wouldn't give any rare/sought after ponies to a non collector though. Only a true collector appreciates them enough, imo.

Same here I like giving non-pony people custom ponies. I think they like them its like an artistic gift.

Ok I should have said that it was just hypothetical. I didnt mean to actually in RL to give them to a non-collector. Just a fun game of which ponies would represent parts of that persons personality/job/family/interests etc.

I gave a friend, whom I hadn't seen in decades, a blind bag Pinkie Pie, because PP makes me laugh and my friend makes me laugh, amd I make her laugh (it gets just as noisy decades later as it did back then when we're together! Lol). I'm not sure what she thought... I don't think it "turned" her... But she did laugh.

My best friend doesn't collect toys but I drag her into toy stores anyhow and I buy her random toys (of any variety) when I see something that I think she'd like.  As for ponies, I 'very already given her a double SS Buttons and a g1 sea pony as part of a water themed birthday gift (she used to collect sea ponies as a kid.)

I gave my mom a Cha Cha the Llama since she loves llamas (and our dog named Llama.) Cha Cha lives in my collection though.
