Cool, congrats! Breeding animals are happy, healthy animals. And yeah, I wouldn't change the name either.
Uh, can I ask (afraid to), what happened with that other axolotl you rescued? Did she make it? The one that you gave to some woman (your boyfriend's mom, I think), thinking that she would give it a good home, and then she neglected the poor thing? I hope you were able to nurse her back to health.
She passed on :/ There were no vets I could take her to in the area and advice from people online can only help so much... I was pretty shook up by the whole thing.
Also, I added photos of the eggs to the OP.
Ohhh, so sorry!
As for exotics vets in the area, are you familiar with Santa Clara Vets in Eugene? They specialize in exotics and are very well-equipped; I take my sugar gliders there. I think they still do all the animals for Wildlife Safari in Winston too. At least, I know they used to; the two clinic owners are married, and that's where they met.

Nirvana grails: Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies. These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians. Feel free to PM me for sales or trades. But please note that I'm also fairly picky.
