I totally forgot about an Ebay auction ending today and never placed my bid. I'm hoping to possibly buy the pony outright since there were no bids.

Yes, they are a member here but not active. It's been over a year that they have signed on

I would just try contacting them through Ebay and see what they say. It wouldn't hurt since there were no bids on the pony.
