Anyone still buy DVDS?

I definitely still buy DVDs (I don't even have a blu-ray player, yet - my TV is too old to make it worth it) - I probably have over 400 Hope you can find homes for yours - looks like it probably won't be too much trouble for you

I still buy DVDs. I haven't upgraded to Blu-Ray yet and I don't like downloads. I prefer to have a hard copy of some kind.

I buy both Dvd's and Blu Ray.  Kind of depends on what the movie is and the cost.  If it's a movie I love a lot then yes, I'll get the Blu Ray.  But if it's just a movie I enjoy, want to own, and watch it just occastionally then I might just go with Dvd.

Selling Dvd's can be both easy and hard.  They've dropped so much in price over the years where I'm at that picking a lot of them up used for cheap is really easy.  So it can sometimes be hard to sell certain movie titles but some movies will always be popular and can be easily sold for a reasonable amount.  But of course there will always be movies that will be hard to find used so it's best to just buy them new on either format of your choice.

I still buy DVDs for some things, like TV shows I know ill watch again (like walking dead/game of thrones) xD iv also got a zombie/vampire DVD collection :p I wouldnt say I have a big DVD collection, because I really dont, but I will buy things that are special, or really cool things ill like watching over.

I still use DVDs. I see no reason to upgrade to Blu-Ray anytime soon. Seem kinda pointless, to me.

I think a DVD sales thread ould be a wonderful idea! I know there's some DVD's I'd love to get, but I can't find anywhere around here. And I'd rather buy them off of all of you, rather than e-bay! ^^

I remember doing a couple swaps through the mail, each side paid shipping and like a dollar in fees to website.  I would be up for a little trading again, might be fun to see what I can trade for some old sailor moon DVD's.

I do when they don't get a blu-ray release. I can 98% of the time get the blu-ray/DVD combo pack for a lot less then a DVD by itself.
