the leg supports are just chopsticks taped together, so they probably broke. they are pretty easy to open up though, usually in the front 'armpit'.

I cant see how them polls in the legs would break! They are so thick. When I refilled mine I just made sure she was filled well and there was a lot of stuffing around them. The bigger ones have a hard time standing due to there weight. They weight more then the others ones. Frilly Frocks is one of them that is more heavy.   

I have a open part in mine under there tails were I re filled them.

I am in the middle of making a giant Fifi, I am using plastic pipes [as in the kind you would get at any hard ware store] to reinforce her legs rather than cardboard. Its much sturdier
