Can anyone tell me if she has molded eyes?

I'm thinking of adding her to my wish-list, but only if she has molded eyes so I can remove the painted on shades and give her eyes instead. If she doesn't have molded eyes, I fear painting eyes on her will just look silly and weird.

There are indents where the eyes should be and the glasses are painted over it on the Favorites set brushable DJ.

Her eyes are unfortunetly "painted on" a unicorn face with the regular eye mold, ol it bugs me sometimes xD they should have given her magenta eyes and plastic glasses...that would have been cool!

Exactly! I'm not a big animated-DJ fan, but I quite like her design (without the shades/glasses).

As others have said you should simply be able to remove the glasses and then the traditional "indents" are there for you to recreate eyes on.

I too think she would be better with loose glasses but she has become such a main stay in my mind with glasses that it would be curious to see her toy without them

Hey Honeycomb! I had sort of stopped collecting and lurked a lot over the years - but as I get more into FiM I've been collecting again and thinking about how much I missed the Arena and my pony peeps.    Luckily you can always come back!

So I'm not completely off topic, here's a picture of my DJ-Pon3 - I think you can see the eye situation here...  I find I spend more time admiring her beautiful hair color than noticing the absence of eyeballs.

They wouldn't have done it right. The glasses would have been like Twilight's glasses accessory from the crystal empire set, and those look terrible.

That being said, her glasses drive me nuts, because they make her look like one of the three blind mice.

Jupiterlily, did you cut the hair on yours? I kinda wanna do that, but I haven't convinced myself yet.

Manimal - no haircuts, I just sort of swept her mane around her body.  I love how you styled yours - I think it suits her personality really well!

I don't have the courage to but mine either...I wish I had the skills to know I could do it without completely ruining it.

I have a feeling there's no good way to do it. Too bad, she's cool in the show, but I don't think I like the brushable. If only they had angled the lenses of her glasses back a bit, it would look pretty good.
