Book swap interest?

Madhatterda, any idea when this may go forward? I have to prioritize what swaps I wanna do because some may overlap with holiday swaps!

I was thinking about that earlier today after Loa posted the swaps were coming and them the ornament swap was posted. I'm kind of worries that this wouldn't end in time to join holiday swaps since they do open early. I was considering typing up my proposal (sorry new job and health issue been busy) and maybe trying to get approval after the holidays? I that bums very one out I can try something different. I'm just afraid we will still be shipping and such when holiday sign ups start. Just my thoughts there.

Hmmm well if we did sign ups like now...this week and next, partners by 30th, a month to shop, we'd be shipping by the first week of November. I'm not sure when the holiday swaps generally start?

I really wanna do this one, so even if we do it now, I'll join.

On second thought, technically people are allowed five swap slots, three of those being to one genre. So if someone were in the book swap, they'd still have two 'off topic' swap slots and two/three pony ones. So I don't think it would deter anyone..

Please let me know if I am able to join when you do the swap! I love books! Just dropped 3 huge boxes of paperbacks off at the library donation.. we do not even have a second hand book store here anymore and I have to buy the "easy reads" in bulk lots on ebay lol-- I like the inspirational romance paperbacks to keep around when I want an easy read, but I have tons of HB authors I collect too.. unfortunately I had to get rid of a ton because at the income based apartments I live in they complained that "book shelves are for houses not apartments." So I basically cut down to the bare essential collections.

Cass that is just mean!!  An apartment is also a home and all homes need books.  Shame on that person.
OK, mini tantrum over!  So, anyone ever found a decent book light?  Book covers?  Other literary extra thoughts?
