I use a mini hand held steam gun by shark and a round brush. That way i can steam with one hand while i spin the brush with the other. Its soo much faster, easier, less finger burns and it doesnt get hot enough to melt anything.  :thumb:

I don't own any Brasilians, but what about the hair on Peruvians?  I just got a yellow/blue Medley with the most amazing afro going on in her mane and tail and I'd looooove to straighten it out.

You can use heat on the Peru ponies hair, but be careful. Make sure the hair is wet and has plenty of conditioner on and start on the lowest heat. I always test a few strands before I do the whole mane or tail.

A word of warning: the green Peru hair has a MUCH lower melting point than the other colours, it also seems to be the colour that goes frizzy too.

Well, it's not green, it's more like Firefly's turquoise.    But it feels really.... squishy.  Like really fine, over processed hair.  I can get a comb through it, but it's very, very frizzy at the end.
