Is this the Cheapest Breyer in the World or Something?
« on: October 07, 2013, 05:08:34 PM »
I found this Breyer at Goodwill this spring, and I do know it's Spirit and was sold at Wal-Mart a few years ago in a set with Rain and their baby.  I've been looking on Indentify Your Breyer for this model since last night, though, and I can't find it.  I do see that website is set up where you can click a Breyer and it will show you who else was made in that same mold, but I can't find this mold at all.  I was able to find all the Breyers I used to have as a teenager.  Is this Breyer just too cheap to make the cut for this website?  I do notice the paint job isn't as good as the paint jobs on the really expensive ones.  This is just driving me nuts that I can't find this Breyer on that website, lol!

though it might not be on their site - the collector's guide might have it (not under Spirit but Andalusian stallion  classic mold) and would list the price of it, I used to have the guide but it got mold because it was in a basement in a boarding home I used to live in that got flooded during super storm Sandy, If I had it I would of looked it up for you. ( not an inexpensive book @ all to replace- and hard to find outside the model horse hobby.

Oh, okay, thanks!

The more I browse through photos of more expensive Breyers, though, I can really tell a big difference in paint quality.

yah it does vary - the more toy like of them don't have the best paint jobs - I also think that he was more of the common exclusives .

Were you looking under Classic scale?  'Cause that's what this mold is. :D

I don't collect Classics myself but some of the older ones (not this guy unfortunately) are quite sought after :)

Thank you!  I was also curious as to what other models were released in that same mold and now I know.  :)
