I won two auctions from a seller in France this past weekend.  The listing says "Will ship to Canada."  I've been trying to contact the seller to receive a combined total (since I had messaged her before the auctions ended, and was assured she'd combine shipping), but to no avail.  I can't even pay for them yet, since the cost of shipping hasn't been filled in by the seller.   They're two really nice G2s, too... but more than that, I'm kind of worried that if this doesn't go well, I might get dinged as a non-paying bidder, when in fact I've been trying my darnedest to pay this seller for those ponies!  Especially since I got a message from eBay, "reminding" me to pay for my items.   I'd have already paid, like, Sunday after I won them, if I could've!  Argh!

Any suggestions?  I've already messaged the seller twice besides the original request for a combined total, but no reply has been forthcoming.

They can't ding you as a non paying bidder if you're requesting an invoice repeatedly. How can you pay if the shipping part isn't available? Your payment would never go through. You could try calling ebay and asking them to contact the member, sometimes they'll even provide their email or phone number to the buyer. I've had a buyer call me before.

Honestly I'm not sure, but I would call Ebay and tell them. They could see your messages to verify and then if you get dinged possibly change it?

Can you just pay for both auctions separately and then have the seller reimburse you for the extra shipping once they finally get back to you? That's what I would do after this many days to avoid any possible non-paying bidder action.

I tried.   There's been no shipping costs filled in, so I can't even proceed to Paypal.

I shot a message to eBay customer support; we'll see what they have to say, I guess.   But it's a bummer; I have a feeling those ponies are going to slip through my fingers.

How frustrating!   I think messaging ebay was  the best thing to do - and if they dont respond, or arent very helpful online then call them - Ebay are usually pretty helpful when you talk to them  in person

Hi! I'm in the same boat and I think it's the same seller. I won a G2 baby of theirs. But I did get a message from the seller the other day. They are out of town currently and said they would get the invoice sent out soon.

It is really difficult if you can't get the seller to answer you, so I feel your frustration. It's weird though since you had prior communication with her before the items ended? Hopefully nothing has happened to her? Just a thought.

You can get the sellers address and phone number. If you go to Advanced, by the Search box, Find contact information. You can do this when you are in a transaction with the other person. If that does not work you can call as Mikeysgrrl suggested also.

Aww hun, that is so frustrating!  I've had that happen before as well, I don't know how other eBay sales sites work but, I don't think you can leave the shipping quote box "empty" when you list in the US, but perhaps they can when they list on other sites? Because I also bought something off of eBay UK and I believe it was from France as well, and it took the seller two weeks to get me the shipping quote for the item. I couldn't pay because there was no "value" in there - even for a single item to pay separately...

I really hope they do contact you! I don't know how to speed it up but... I'll pray to the pony gods that you hear from them soon!!

Had the same happened just days ago!! Phoned with ebay and they said i should use the officiel reply to the case and they would delete a red letter if i get one.finally could pay.since then i am waiting for her to ship

Oh, good news - here's hoping!

Now I'm hoping that the seller's okay.  I mean, I guess it must have been something untoward that pulled them out of town...  Otherwise, why set up auctions to end when you won't be there?

Update!

I never received a reply from the seller ( ) but got an invoice at last!  Paid up, and here's hoping those ponies materialize.

I'm thinking, however, that feedback won't be stellar.  I've had problems leaving negative feedback in the past (I waffle at confrontation), so could I please pick brains for something to say about the transaction (provided the ponies arrive and in good nick)?
