I had a Banana Surprise when I was a little girl... she definitely had a distinctive smell. It was supposed to be banana split I think.

I didn't know the soda ponies were supposed to smell!

I don't recognise the scents of my G1s. Most still have their scents but only smell like candy to me 

So I'm curious to find out too. Especially SHS perfumes. I've been looking for a SHS perfume for so long. They seem to be very hard to find.

I remember Cherry Merry Muffin dolls smelled so good. Mine are still very scented. Yum, chocolate and vanilla

No just their Ice Cream floats as far as i know. I think they where meant to smell like chocolate or vanilla or strawberry. My pink float smells like vanilla as far as I can tell.

Well most of them were supposed to smell like what they were named after although I agree that perhaps Hasbro was a little loose with scent accuracy.

I had a few of them when I was younger, they no longer have there smell though. I do have some now that still smell. I love to open up the Curio Cabinet and smell them ponies

I love Strawberry Sweetberry pony for that! As soon as I open her cabinet that's all I can smell and it's divine! I wasn't even going to keep her because she isnkt one on my list, but that scent!! Lol...Cocoa Berry and Swirly Whirly still smell nice, too, but i think that fresh from the card new pony smell from the 80's has the best memories for me!

None of my ponies have a specific smell either, but collectively they smell like candy. Everyone in my case has had their hair cleaned with strawberry shampoo & conditioner. I LOVE how my ponies smell! Sometimes I'll take one out and smell her... my husband has caught me doing that a few times. He just smiles and shakes his head.

When I was a child I had Coco Berry I remember thinking smelled like perfume, Swirly Whirly smells nice.

G3 Citrus Sweetheart has a nice smell, I owned her until my Dads cat decided to destroy her.

My Dainty Dahlia smells of something it's kind of nice but her hair needs a wash so it's not particularly strong.

Banana Surprise and Coco Berry! They smell so good.. But then again, Cherry Treat's smell is so overwhelmingly strong, I dont like it.
