I'd love to see what OCs or other characters you make!
Tips:#1
Print on card stock for best results, though plain paper will probably work too.
#2
Cut all the way up to the tummy and then stop, so that you leave a colored flap between the front leg and back leg. Trim off the excess white from the flap and cut down the "L" shaped line in it. Fold the flap inward - it will interlock with the flap from the other side when you fold the figure down the back. The body will be a triangle shape.
#3
The trickiest part is cutting down the non-display side of the front leg - just follow the contour of the head and hair and don't worry that the front leg will have an odd shape in the front.
#4
For the "make your own" versions, you should be able to save the JPG on your computer, open it up with photo editing software and then use the Paint Bucket tool to fill in the colors you want.
