Popping head off G4 GLITTER pony?

Yes. You heard me right. Well I got a G4 Sparkly brushable pinkie pie, yes the one with the black and white symbols. But her symbol was jacked up. And the replacement I got as a funny shaped lower chin but a perfect symbol and body. Well.. I want to swap heads but I don't know how to go about it.

I know theres the warm water technique, but how will this effect this glittery pony???

Whats the safest way to go about this?

You could try the hair dryer technique, and watch that glue like a hawk. I'd say warm water might be safer, though.
