G4 Dollar store question and Care Bear PC, please! (CB pic included)

Hi everyone 

I found a G4 Cherry Pie w/suitcase FiM for sale at my Family Dollar store.  I remember reading that the dollar stores run behind bigger stores like Targe and TRU- can anyone tell me this one was released?  I'd like to get an idea of how far behind my particular store is but don't know much about G4's.

Also, I found this cute little Care Bear playset at a thrift store and picked it up because if it's amazing condition- no rubs or scratches!  I'd love to get a pc from Care Bear collectors and offer it for sale here first before I send it on to ebay.  No idea of what Care Bear stuff is worth but it seems like it is from the 1980's?

The Cherry Pie came out around March of last year!    So a bit behind lol But that's cool that they get ponies in there. Check Big Lots too! They do the same kind of thing

That Care Bears set is from the early 2000s. I have that set. I bought mine new so I have no idea what it's worth now.

Thanks for the dollar store tip! I went to the one near me and found an adorable suitcase Pinkie with a hedgehog. Score!

That sounds about as "behind" as normal for Dollar Store from what people say here Cherry Pie is from Wave 6 of the small single releases but most stores are now on Wave 11 so thats a good indication of how behind the store is. Be careful they dont just zoom all the way to catch up and skip some waves though!

Well, I bought the CB set super cheap so it's ok with me if it's fairly new!  Anyone interested? 

Yeah, I'll definitely be cruising the dollar stores now off and on just to see.  Wouldn't it be great to find some of the FS toys there?  No idea if it's possible...

My mom is the assistant manager of a Family Dollar where I live, they are pretty much current... ish. Sunset Shimmer is released there. (I keep hinting at my mom to buy her.)

What ponies are 9 bucks?! The ones at my mom's store are 5 or 6.

Cherry Pie was $5.  I was fine with paying that- it's about the same as Wal-mart (mid Oklahoma location).

my family dollars have current wave ponies. and they are over priced.. $5.50-6 a pony.. Nothing special.
