So, as quite a few of you know (as you responded quite nicely to my inquiry) I will be undertaking some PONY SCIENCE! My test subjects have arrived (thank you Lochnessmomster
), I have gathered my supplies (which I will cover in detail once the pictures go up). I hit one fairly large snag this weekend, however. As I live in the desert we have a fairly steady climate year round, except this year monsoon season decided it would be about a month early!
So, my usually hot deck is rather shady and the temperature is fluctuating a bit too much to control for. Not to mention the wind that could knock the stripes off of a cat... I will be keeping an eye out for one or two days that should have fairly similar weather and at that time I will begin the experiments and upload the pictures, as well as detail my method, supplies, and overall cost.
I hope everyone checks back, and once again thank you all for being so interested! (Oh, and for anyone wondering why this took a whole week, I had an algebra midterm Thursday. I devoted most of my week to studying for it and actually got an 85%!)
