My first two Nirvanas, that need TLC [photo heavy]

Hey guys. So I'm happy to say I have my first two Nirvanas! Well One I had for about a year and one I've received today!!

Here is the thing with them though... they both need a lot of TLC!

First up, made in Spain Snowflake! Other than a bath this is what she needs done: Complete Symbol redo (they are pretty much gone other than the glue imprint and some of the silver still left) and a rehair. Her eyes might need a bit of touch up but I don't want to really mess with that.. What DH hair color would work for Her. Photos below sorry for the contrast but I don't really feel like pulling out my photo tent

Second Pony is Italian Firefly who is in massively worse shape than Snowflake. First off yes she needs a bath too, thankfully her symbols are mostly intact... however, she has hair cuts and needs a rehair. But that is the least of her problems! She is covered in faint purple felt marker by the looks of things and from the original photos I thought she looked white. My first thoughts when I saw her was that she was probably faded, and I was right.. She is both severely faded but also yellowed! Her neckring shows her true pink coloring (which I did not get photos of that. Her eyes need a touch up too... so here are the photos, again sorry if there is any contrast problems.. Also what DH hair color would be best of her?

Oh wow, congrats on your very first nirvanas!!!

I really love spain/no country ponies! I think snowflake looks very good, she will be wonderfull with a new symbol and rehair

I'm wishing you more luck with Firefly than I had.  I thought I could fix her when I could get her, and she really does photograph bad, I thought she was white myself when I bought her!  I don't believe there is a true white Firefly, I think even the palest ones are a light pink, and they too, photograph as white.

Italian Fireflies fade out to white to my knowledge so yeah they are either light pink or turn whiteish.

I would think Virgin Snow would be good for Snowflake, but someone else might have a better suggestion.

I have simply used summer sunfading for all of my Nirvana girls to get rid of marker marks. Someone else might have other suggestions. I've used a few peroxide treatments to help with whitening and cancer, but you always run the risk of an accident.

I probably will have to go and finish fading her... at least to get her somewhat even in coloring.

I've done the proxide fading with a non-nirvana but I don't have a container large enough for her

i have two italian fireflies, one is real pink like she was when she was sold and then true white faded one (the pink on her front is reflecting from pink firefly). so there is hope that your firefly will fade to white:

I do have one question. Mylittlewiki shows two Italian Fireflies... one with straight and one with curly hair. I'm not sure which I have as that seems to be the only difference... I'm assuming mine is the straight hair one but are both of the variants prone to fading?

I would has said she is the straight hair version from looking at what is left of her hair

All pink Italy ponies are prone to fading Twilight, Parasol, Cotton Candy and Skyflier all turn up looking almost white!
