Cookie & Fizzy for court2882

Court commissioned these two cuties a month or so ago, and I've been crazy busy these past few weeks and took forever to get them finished.  But I had an absolute blast making these girls, and I love how they turned out!

First we've got a g1 to g4 conversion, Fizzy!

She's a Fashion Size g4, I think she's a franken-pony made from a Pinkie Pie and a Luna (it's impossible to find plain unicorns around my area).  Of course, she's got twinkling crystal eyes.  A recreation of an 80's pony needed 80's hair, and so Fizzy got herself a crimpy wave and a tiny claw clippy.

Next up, we've got a girl I've simply been calling Cookie.

Court asked for a Cookie Monster themed pony that didn't involve actually turning the pony into Cookie Monster (for which I'm very glad, because that would be just.... odd).  I did a bit of thinking about it and decided to do a cookie-themed pony with Cookie Monster on top of her.  Cookie Monster was sculpted with Apoxie, painted, and then flocked.  There was flocking everywhere in my workshop and all over me, and for a little while it looked like I'd shaved a muppet, but I'm quite pleased with how he turned out (and so is Court!).

Tiny Cookie looked really, really bizarre until I flocked him.  It was hysterical to me, he just looked so wrong that I nearly sculpted another one!

I once crocheted a hat that had a curly mohawk - my best friend asked me how many muppets were senselessly killed to create it, because it was bad.  But flocking.... it gets EVERYWHERE, and this stuff was much finer than the stuff I'd bought in craft stores.
