Halloween Swap Host Needed!

Alrighty, without getting into the why (which I can't answer anyway) this years Halloween Swap needs a new host... and fast! Are you up for it?

I'd volunteer myself but because it is such a huge swap, I lack the confidence and experience to take on so many people. The swap I hosted was small and problem free and still made me nervous Last years Halloween Swap I think had 40 people? It was a lot, I know that.

Sign ups should start soon if we want to be ready by Halloween. Normally I think we'd have about 3 months working time.

So, who wants the job?

I was going to post about this soon saying the same thing. More or less...I just can't do it this yr.  But if you set a reasonable limit of participants and aren't working three jobs it should be an easy swap to host.

I'd volunteer as long as I didn't have to make anything*. Most of my work/hobbies involves keeping groups of people organized.


*I mean I'm happy to keep people scheduled, but I cannot actually make customs myself and would just be organizing.

Oh, I forgot about the job thing, Sunny! That's gotta suck Sorry. I panicked a bit because I know sign-ups are usually around this time and myself want all the working time I can get, lol. I'm going to miss you as a host though! My past customs from your swaps are some of my absolute favs

Rosencrantz, I don't think that would be a problem I've been in some swaps where the host didn't participate. Sunny always paired by skill, which is what most people prefer (I think there was even a poll about that one year). So you'd do pairing, check-ins and butt kicking if someone gets outta line I think you could even recycle last years form too.

I'd host, but I have to wait and see what my workload will be after EFNW. If nobody else wants to do it I'll try.

I'd be happy to help anybody set up for hosting I'd even send you the spread sheet I've used the last few yrs to help you pair different people instead of the same ones again...since I'm on maternity leave I'll have a bit of time but a nursing newborn is likely not going to give me a ton of custom work time or check in here time.

Hi loves!  By general consensus we are going to make the Halloween Swap an official Arena Swap!  Look for more info in the next few days!
