Italian tail lengths?

I've acquired a pink-haired Italian Cherries Jubilee variant in need of some TLC. Her tail is horribly frizzy and I'd like to replace it with an authentic Italian tail. I have a donor tail from a Peachy, but it's been a long time since I last had a non-CP Italian and have doubts about the correct length. The tail my CJ had when I got her in my hands is the length of a CP pony's tail, but based on the photos I've seen it could have originally been longer.

Could someone measure their Italian (preferably pink hair) CJ's tail? If it indeed is supposed to be longer, where should I look for a replacement? Perhaps Italy Bowtie?

Last but not least, could someone sell me an upgrade with great hair and factory curl?

I would hang on to her old tail if you ever wish to sell her on you can give it to her new owner.

Is there any chance conditioning and straightening would help?

I do think the curly haired italian ponies have longer hair than the straight hair italian ponies.

I was able to defrizz her mane quite a bit by conditioning and ironing, but the original tail is matted beyond salvageable. I'm definitely not going to toss it though. I find it funny that it is the same length as a CP pony's tail. Perhaps a pedantic kid (or their mom) cut it to match them?

Aw that is a shame it is so matted sometime the hair really is beyond repair.

I checked the tail lengths and took some pictures for you

The longest part on CJ is around 17 cm and the bowties I have (found two in my collection, yay pony find) are 15-16 cm. I didn't want to pull the curls too much

Thanks a lot, Aquarel That's definitely longer than a CP tail, I measured some at random and they seem to be 13±0.5 cm. Just a little jelly over your curly-haired CJ!
