Need A Header for My Website - Any Ideas? PRIZE!!!

Hi all,

I don't like the look of the top of my website.  It's too plain and yet cluttered at the same time.  I love what Sarafina did with her site:  http://www.vintagelpscollector.com/index.htm  and there's many other nice examples out there.

I can't draw anything myself and have limited computer skills.  It has to be a scan from a backcard, or a box, or coloring book or photos of real ponies.  Something that I will only have to make minor changes to.  I'm trying to figure out what would work well.

I would be so grateful for a good idea that I'll send a prize to the person who has a great idea that I can pull off!

Get backcard scans and them make a collage of the different gen's art, with your logo?

Or a "before" and "after" shot of ponies..  before restoration, after restoration, then your logo/site title on top.

I like the idea of perhaps a drawing of a pony looking perhaps a little down on her luck , tangled hair and all smoozed...and then a transformation picture of the same pony in gorgeous condition.

I am not arty enough to be able to actually draw something out but I hope other people can help  you out

You are too sweet!    I just use box/backcard scans and then clean them up using a very out-dated imaging program (Microsoft Image Composer).  I change the title and colors every three months, so I never end up getting too bored with it. 

It would be great if you could use Far Dreamer in the title image - maybe you could commission an artist to do an image for you?

If you need any help with cutting out / brightening / vectoring backcard scans or anything like that, I'm quite handy with Photoshop and I'd be happy to help

Once you get an idea you like I'd be happy to make it happen, I'm pretty handy with Photoshop and I'd love to help your site out, it's saved a few ponies of mine from the bait box!

I've contacted Corona who kindly offered photoshop help and can draw from scratch.  We're trying out a mix of HathorCat's and Sarafina's ideas:  my persona looking all beat up and embarrassed then fixed up and looking proud of herself.  I'll be contacting all three of you to get an idea of what you might like for a prize.

But your header is so cute!!! Well, if you really wanted to change it, you could take a couple ponies and G1 pet shops and Ponies and make a collage of something. With a couple pictures and and an app like Pic-Stitch or Insta-Collage. Just saying.
