Perfect blue?

This is one of my favorite movies.  There were no children and no ghosts.  Plenty of blood though!

Eh, not really, I've finished a lot of very crappy animes. In fact, I'm a completist and I always finish what I start even if I hate it. Me not finishing EL is a very big statement as to how I feel about it.

Like bad anime? Two glorious words:

"Girls High".

I can sit through a lot of junk, but that was the first time I've ever wanted to stop watching something.

Oh yes, this too. I've seen it several times. Have ZERO issues watching the screwdriver scene. I'm pretty sure I've eaten food during it.

This reminds me that I need to find and watch that live action one. Also, I wish someone translated the novel into English. I'd read that so fast, but while my Japanese is slightly better than most folks in the U.S. (I took four months in college), it's not good enough to read a novel.

The live version and the novel are not at all the same story.  I think the main character is a male. 

But yeah, the ice pick scene (I always thought it was an ice pick) isn't that bad.  I was eating Chinese food with red sauce the first time I saw it.  I paused with my fork halfway to my mouth, went "Meh" and continued eating that delicious delicious chicken.
