Paypal fees question

I recently had 2 items sell for the exact same price and both had the exact same shipping as well, but Paypal took out different amounts for the fees. Anyone run into this before?

Maybe one buyer used a credit card & the other buyer used their bank account or funds already in their Paypal account.

Also if they were international vs national transactions can make a difference with the fees

they were both domestic usa transactions. Why should I be penalized if they pay with different methods, that is not something I have control over.

It costs paypal more to deal with a credit card transaction, so they pass the charge on to you.

Yeah, PayPal is very convenient...but also kind of evil at the same time.
