My wife's favorite pony is a little orange one with stars/planets on it.  There is one on etsy that looks new and I want to buy it for her.  It's $80 plus $16 shipping.  Is that an acceptable price? It's international I've never bought off etsy before.

Card: slight wear and creasing along right side
Plastic Bubble: clear, no cracks or dents, has pulled away from card along right side
Pony: as far as I can tell, she is still absolutely mint in package

I'm guessing that's Baby North Star?  That seems a tad high for her MOC, but not by much.

If it's the same one I think you're looking at then I know the seller But the one I'm looking at is $70 on etsy, plus $16.50 for shipping. She is an Arena member and you can always negotiate if you like She's a very sweet person and a wonderful seller!

Yeah that seems a bit high- but it's not like they come up that often either.

Anyway, if it is, at least you know the name and can look for it in more places ^^ if she is being sold Mint on Card (MoC) that makes her more expensive then if she were loose. But if you want her this way, just make sure to ask the seller to pack it accordingly. It sounds silly, but some members have had careless sellers send ponies in such a way that the card got damaged

I agree that that is steep for her, even MOC - as a set they crop up with reasonable regularly and that keeps them lower in price.

However, if you are in a rush then as long as you are aware you are purchasing over collector value, then I dont see any harm in trying to negotiate it down a touch and buying at the price agreed, even if it is over the $50-55 she is worth.

If you are not in too much of a rush, you should try posting a wanted ad over in the wanted forum or even adding a little "advert" in your signature in order that people can see you looking and hopefully help out.
