Dry Hair: Help?
« on: June 12, 2013, 04:49:10 PM »
I picked up a Cranberry Muffin in really good condition, but her hair is super dry with a little frizz. I washed with conditioner in hot water, did the dip in boiling water method, but her hair is still dry and frizzy.

I'm dubious about using a flatiron (and my mother won't let me) but would that cure Cranberry Muffin's bad hair day? How does the flatiron method work? I want to avoid rehairing since aside from the dryness and frizz her hair is fine.

Try that first, if not, then you will likely have to use a hair iron.  :)  You can also try using fabric softener instead of conditioner.

*nods* this technique is the best first step to try - really leave it in for a significant time and make sure its wrapped tight so that the hair and conditioner dont dry out.

I'll try that! Thanks everyone! Hopefully it'll fix up Cranberry Muffin.
