Wow, that burning is certainly VERY bad. Ok, no sun whitening then. Maybe this acne cream but I would have to know what the working substance is to find the right thing

Anything with benzoyl peroxide in it will work. You could also try hydrogen peroxide baths if you feel more comfortable with that. And im not 100% sure about Quackers burning, but I remember reading that somewhere.

hmm, so do you need to put the pony outdoors for the sunfading to work? I have a pretty yellowed baby Moondancer, but I don't want to put her outside because the summers around here can be pretty wet and she'll get soaked (that can't be good for her...). And then there isn't much consistently sun here either. It kind of comes and goes all summer. With loads of rain inbetween!

I've sunfaded ponies by only having them next to a window, but it will take much longer. But, it works, if you're not in a hurry! If you want to use creams/hydrogen peroxide, sun is not required at all, but it will speed it up.

No you dont need to. Its all about the UV levels as Elisto says so as long as they are located somewhere that does not prevent UV from getting through you should be fine.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Great tips guys!  I needed this.  Going to put my ponies out on my patio (don't get tons of sun, but I don't have many choices, being in an apartment) and I'm hoping it will work out somewhat.

I recently tried to whiten a yellowed Glory. I tried hydrogen peroxide together with the sun. Glory was bathing for about a month and became slightly whiter. But definitely not pure white.

I had TAF Fifi and Raincurl in the same bath too, Fifi whitened slightly too but her symbols faded lots, Raincurl didn't change at all.

I don't like to use acne creams as it stains everything it touches and my ponies (even white ones) have had enough mislucks with it in the past  :(

My Cherry Treats and TAF Yum Yum are now completly white! Its been 2 days again, and they went from badly yellowed to pure white. No damage to symbols or hair. Sure, I might have to repeat this later, but at least all my other whitened ponies are still white.

I only use creams on badly yellowed ponies, so there is absolutely nothing to lose. Either they go white or nothing happens. I've had more bad accidents with oxybaths, especially symbol/hair fading, while with cream im able to avoid touching those.

I dont think the staining is a problem either, because I always use gloves and keep the ponies in a place where touching the surface doesnt matter.  :)
