Is there a way to safely remove glitter from G3s without damaging the plastic? :)

I know people have mentioned acetone damaging G4s but I've never had an issue with G3s. i usually just soak a cotton ball in acetone, pull it apart a little (kind of make it flat instead of a ball) and then place it over the glitter. In about 2 to 3 minutes the glitter wipes right off.

I use a tissue soaked with cellulose thinner and after the glitter is almost gone I remove the rest with a cutting blade and scrape it off very carefully =)
Plastic should be fine if it's not too long in touch with it.

What pop said works great and I've never had any trouble. Just did it a couple days ago in fact.

I alternate between acetoneing and sanding with ultra fine sandpaper (between 600 and 1000 grit)
