For cut forelocks, sometimes I've had luck doing a partial rehair without removing the head by cutting the hair as close to the head as possible, then poking a push pin through each plug hole to try to poke the remaining hair back into the body. Then use a rehairing tool to stick new hair into the plug holes-- as long as you're not going to be continually tugging on the pony's hair, it shouldn't be necessary to use glue inside the head or anything. However, sometimes the leftover hair doesn't want to poke back inside the head after you trim it, and that's when you have to bust out the hot water and pry that pony's head off
she is such a pretty pony, even with all the issues!I love your fix, I hope it looks equally nice when she dries!
