FUNKO Vs Design a pony Rainbow Dash and Fluttersy?

Anyone have pics of these?
I was deciding on weather or not to go ahead and get the vinyl figures, but if they are pretty much identical to the Walmart Design a pony, I think I will pass.
I mean, aside from the colours, do any of you have pictures showing the contrast in size and sculpt?

I took one long ago of FS (please excuse Funko pony's lack of eyes, she is a prototype but otherwise identical to the final version)  - but it does show you the difference in size and sculpt.  I like the design-a-ponys a lot- but the Funkos have a nicer sculp in my opinion.

I LOVE them!! After seeing this I ran out and got them so I can do the same. I like them because they're so smooth and well made...the Funkos are cool, too, but I like the DaP's better aesthetically!

Oh- I should mention that the paint job on Funko Rainbow Dash (tail and bangs) is a bit sloppy- and they also got the colors wrong, so you might have to do some paint correction.

I have to say that I would be more interested in getting the Funko figures if they weren't so static.  I mean if you are going to go to the trouble of making a high end  figure that is unique for each character, then why not make a more dynamic pose?  turn a head, raise a hoof?

And I prefer the Funko ponies, I love their heavyness, probably good for self defense. >.>

Great comparison pics Galatica.

I swing and sway on which I prefer. I actually agree that when you have a mould like this there is so much more room for variety and the static poses are a touch boring. But then again the DaP are the same static pose so in that way one is not better than the other. However, if I absolutely had to make a decision, I think because I like a reasonably finished product [I really dont want to have to paint wings and hair] I would go with the Funko.
