Hmm, I'll have to look, but honestly that price might be okay for the skin toned ones. They're less weird looking when they're not paper white.

Maybe one of these days I'll make one so I can do it's face up.

I'm tempted to pick one up.  I've been tinkering with making my own 3d print doll and this would help.

Mine still says 59.99 for a white doll and NOTHING else. DX I'm confused.

They do look better with faceups. :D

I'm guessing its a bug. Mine is saying 59.99 in the maker right now too, but the one in my cart hasn't changed price from 9.99.

The dolls are still only £9.99 with eyes. Having expensive taste in clothes doesn't mean they all cost £100 or are rip offs or whatever.

Taxel, I've never said, or even implied they are a rip off, so I don't know where you are getting that from. All I've said are the reasons why I'm personally not going to order one, yet.

Yeah, it seems to have been a bug, because I put a doll in my cart when the price was coming up as 9.99, and it's still in there at that price... but when I add another of the exact same doll, that one has the higher price.  So it was a glitch or some kind of sale or something.

I wasn't actually planning to buy the doll that's in the cart, but now I feel like I kinda have to, if I'm getting such a good deal.

Haha, if I had a doll that came up as 9.99 I probably would. So I'm kinda glad it didn't for me. ROFL

£99 was the price back when they were still in infancy and the first few runs, i came across them last summer. All the outfits are handmade iirc too, hence the limited selection.

Apparently the Makie people were invited to NYC to showcase their dolls as part of some kind of British innovation thing, and gave dolls to Prince Harry and the Prime Minister.

The dolls look 100x better with some color on their faces, though I have to say I still find those two kinda creepy.  However, the makie doll that I ordered when they had that glitch/sale has been made and I may be biased, but I think she's looking pretty cool so far:

They do look better with face-ups.  I have seen some beautiful 3D printed dolls made on people's personal printer.  I think with enough time, more people may own 3D printers and then just buy the pattern for the dolls.  They still take talent to complete, but can you imagine how awesome that would be?
