Hmm, do you have like a type of rocking chair? Perhaps you could fold it so the prettiest part is showing and then drape it over the back of the chair? That way you wouldn't use it so much, just your back touching it when you sit down so it wouldn't need to be washed quite so often.

I have seen people fold them to get the repeater pattern and then frame them. Of hang them on walls in a similar manner as you would a tapestry either using some expensive tapestry mounts or in a make shift way with hangers and perhaps a little stitching.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I second hanging it like a tapestry. :) That's what I would do, if I had the wallspace.
I'll put something here some time

Tapestry is a great suggestion.  You could make curtains or a shade if you want to keep it whole.

Mine's on the spare bed in the pony room. I also have a shelf which is way above head height so I covered it with another duvet cover so it was prettier than just bare dark wood :)

A quilt rack could work! It takes up some floor space though.

I have G3 bedding that was at Kmart in 2003 I think.  It was a set that had a pinkie pie pillow, fleece blanket, comforter, sheets, and pillow cases.  Pretty much everything was sold separately.  I don't know if it's yet considered vintage. I have it on my bed though in any case.  I got rid of the sheets though because those type of sheets become rough after a while.  The fleece blanket is in my cats carrier.  The pinkie pie pillow I gave to salvation army along with other MLP things I regret giving up when I thought I was done with MLP.  I also gave up my Starsong pillow buddy thing from TRU.  What I would give to get another one or even of another character.
