Postage time from US to Singapore?
« on: May 17, 2013, 09:42:09 PM »
How long do ponies take to arrive from the US to Singapore? As some of y'all may know, I'm finally back from my Outward Bound camp (in one piece! :D) and I was looking forward to receive some ponies, but none had arrived :(

Only a little later did I receive Ivaness' package! (3 Blindbag Ponies for the price of two! She just added the extra in for free! Nice or nice?)

But that brings me to my next point. How come the packages that were sent last Wednesday hadn't arrived even though Ivaness' package sent on Friday had arrived? Exactly how long do packages take to arrive from the US? Or can I expect my ponies on Monday?

Thanks!

The post will normally tell you it takes 10-15 WORKING days for parcels to arrive from the US to Singapore. This is just a rough guage though, as parcels can sometimes take longer or shorter, give and take.

There are any factors resulting in the slow and fast delivery of a parcel, so it's really hard to explain why a parcel will arrive faster than the other. Generally, the USA is a large country, so a parcel coming out of one state can be further than another another. How big the city is also a factor, since big cities have higher volume of mails and have the economy of scale, while smaller places will have to consolidate their parcels before they ship them out.

Customs is also another consideration. Sometimes for unknown reasons, the customs will retain a parcel as they deem fit. That will increase time of delivery too. I hope this helps.

Deb is correct.

The last time I shipped there, it took about 2 weeks. But, any shipment can take 2 weeks or 2 months at anytime, there is no way to predict it.  It truly depends on how the item was sent and customs.
