Thrift store Vintage and New Doll Finds...And a New ObseSSIOn for me :O

Today was so much fun. DH took me out of town to this thrift store I never get to visit.  Its like 100 degrees today so this was no easy task.  I was so excited to find a Cutie Pops Chiffon in a bag there.  She had her original yarn hair pieces and some blonde hair pieces (not in photo due to wash and hang to dry.).  She is missing her blue bows for both hair sets.  I really want her original bows but I have no idea how to get them. They certainly are not on ebay.  So, DH took me to TRU and bought me two sets. One had hair and the other was a bracelet.  My doll was missing a cupcake on her dress so, now she is sporting an ice cream cone replacement.  I wonder how I will find her 4 bows for her hair pieces and cupcake for her dress.  I must have more of these. They are my new obsession. They are a lot of fun.

I also found two Cherry Merry Muffin Dolls, 2 1990's Skippers in original clothes and shoes, bag of Barbie clothes from the 1980s, A Puffalump which was one I have been wanting and a Poochie.  I have washed all of them except the CMM Dolls.  They are next.  I think I spent like 15.00 for everything plus tax. 

Does anyone know the name of the blonde and if her outfit is original?  It fits her perfectly.  Sorry  the Barbie clothes are already put up so they didn't make it into the photo.

I checked jada toys website and they don't seem to sell replacement parts for the Cutie Pops:(

I know I am so bummed. I may have to wait like years for the kids that are playing with the dolls to outgrow them before I will find the bows.

Oh I didn't realize they were all different names for the Mattel dolls. LOL I will try to remember that. Skipper must be taller and older then.

Woohoo! Cutie Pops have claimed another victim fan!

I have a spare pair of closed eyes and one pair of bows for Chiffon (possibly both pairs of bows, but I don't think so). I might even end up with a spare cupcake in about a week. If you're interested just PM me and I can get you photos.

Yep! I have the UK releases of all the original girls, and I got some Chiffon pieces with my OOAK girl. And if I get Chiffon's dog for my birthday I'll be able to spare a cupcake for you.

You have made my day.  I am so excited.  I have my blonde hair pieces in rollers now and tomorrow they should look a lot better than the rats nest they were in ... in the thrift store bag.  It just seems like kids don't brush their doll's hair anymore and its always ratty.
