I have felt like this a couple of times... But I am still in the mind frame that I would like to collect them all (at least one MIB, and then maybe a 2nd OOB)... My husband doesnt mind anymore... And I dont mind them so much... I think the only thing that bothers me at the moment is that I have to hide a lot of the little pieces from my kids... (like the pets, my 2 year old loves having the pets... Lol) I am hoping that once we move out of the apartments where I am and in to something bigger, I will be able to have my collection a bit more on display than hidden away...  ^.^

Like the calm before a storm, eh? I am glad, I don't think there are scalpers in my area...and these breaks give me a chance to save some cash cause these dolls are just waaay too pricey! But if you don't get them while they are on store shelves, then you end up paying even more!!! Damned if you do and damned if you dont!

Not burnt out per say, but definitely not liking any of the new releases. Saves me money though! :)

I just like the actual "monster" dolls, and the recent releases are just not "monstery" enough. I want Wydowna and that rumored black cat, but who knows if they'll ever come out.

I am not burnt yet. But less and less dolls attract my eye. Monster High went from gothic to gaudy. When I first saw them in 2010 in October, I was su inspired even though I didn't want them yet. But when I saw Cleo and Deuce un the box together, I couldn't stop looking at their sculpts, clothes and shoes. Monster High were more tastefull then.

Sometimes I get that way too, but buying custom clothes keeps me going!

I have reached a point in my MH collecting where I have lost enthusiasm. I think I dove headfirst into it too hard and burned myself out. I will definitely get into them again when the new characters show up in stores.

Right now my focus has went back to pony collecting, which is fine by me. :) Working on some other collections also.

Haha the opposite for me, I'm excited about all monster high but it's only been a few weeks of collecting for me.  I'm burnt out on the pony front. At Least all the rereleased characters in each line is different, unlike current pony releases.

I am so behind and like many dolls, and almost feel overwhelmed by all I've missed with monster high. But it's all really exciting.

I'm definitely burnt out on MH. I got a BJD and everything else just seems not as good now, haha. I started selling them off, but I think I have a few left after getting overwhelmed and stopped selling xD

Ive burned out to the point Im selling Lala Dawn of the Dance New in Box. And they are taking tons of space now and they can be so expensive! I hope I can down size to 1 or 2 characters each. I have over 100+ mh dolls!
Glitter for everyone! :fireworks:

I am. Kind of..
There's still some that I am looking forward to.. like the last two PGs and GNO/DC Rochelle & Gil. But on the whole.. I got tired. I got the feeling like a sudden, strong kick to the stomach when I was picking up SwimClass Goona. My boyfriend was looking at her being like 'Don't you have that doll already?' (He's correct, I have all versions of Lagoona to date. Probably why he noticed..) And I was like 'Yeah, I do.. but this one has straight hair and a different faceup.' ..upon saying this line it suddenly struck me just HOW SILLY that sounded.

I took her home still.. but have been pondering this thought ever still. I question my initial idea of picking up GNO and PD Goona.. they're so similar! So why? ..and instead selling off a few of my doubles, too.

But on the other hand I have been preparing repaints, trying my best to collect the DotD-Line (Only Clawdeen and Lala missing now) and I even have bought a second set of PGs to keep MIB.

So I guess I am not tired of the line in general.. but just of how uninspired most of the new releases/characters are.

I'll probably go for class rather than mass in the future.

I was trying to explain to someone why I had 3 Cupids, and when I said "Well, this one comes with a diary." I got the Malibu Stacy "talk" too!
