While I still like them I would have preferred Pinkie and AJ and Twi instead of Dash and Fluttershy (Rarity can keep hers too). After all Fluttershy and Dash already have wings. It would make more sense that Twi gave herself and the other non-Pegasus ponies those kind of wings.

Nay.  I'm not that fond of G4's in general, but glimmerwings are at the very bottom of the list, only thing below them are those oversized talking things.   They just look silly and top heavy.

Apparently, for being cheap-looking they're savagely attatched! I've read a few horror stories about customs being attempted and fingers almost coming off before wings do!

I really like mine! I only have Ploomette at the moment but Sweetsong is on her way. I want either Rarity or Diamond Rose with the light green translucent wings but haven't the funds just now.

I haven't seen Rainbow Dash with translucent wings - can anybody share a photo?

The wings are pretty, how they are put together on the body, not so much.

Flutter ponies have a somewhat similar situation going on but at least it's up high on the back and you don't notice it as much. On the G4's it looks like the whole back and rear was cut out so you have this big gaudy seam to look at, which takes away from the awesome wings. Sorta like a frankenstein deal going on. Also the wings look a little far back on the back to me.

I like them. They are like fairies of the pony world... or something, to me.
So far I only buy ones that are new brushable characters at the time they are released though so I only have Ploomette and Sweetsong but I think they are cute. ^^
I don't mind the size of their wings at all. They still stand up on their own so it's good  I kinda wish they didn't have the seam on their back though.

These are the only ponies I plan on keeping NIB since they display so nicely.  Once you get one they do grow on you.
