Do you prefer NM ponies or ponies who need TLC?

I'm a NM collector so that's what I look for.  However, I often buy lots from Ebay to get a certain pony I need and I'll trade the others off.  Many of those need TLC so I get to have some fun before rehoming them.  This way I get to have the best of both worlds but only the cream of the crop get to stay.

Like cricket, minty to near mint collector here...so for me that's what I aim for when purchasing.

I can live with the odd hair de-tangle or clean up [and I have earned my restoration stripes over the years I think lol] so its not that I would say no, its just that if I would prefer to purchase a pony in lovely condition and not purchase one which I need to clean up and then realise the poor little soul wasn't worth the original value. Mainly because I then grow attached and unable to sell/trade away said pony - hence ending up with drawers and boxes filled with doubles
