Congrats! She's so beautiful! Mine doesn't get to wear any clothes, can't be hiding that wonderful bone structure. >.>; (Tempted to get a second one who won't be "naked" all the time. XD)

Long time no talk! I kinda disappeared for a while there.

Anyways! Thank you so much. She's gorgeous. I love the bones and everything about her. Funny enough I've been really tempted to take off her clothes and leave her like that. Them bones are looovely.

This is the first time I've wanted doubles of a MH doll. The artist in me would love to buy another one and do a custom paint job on her.

Thank you everyone! My next goal is too get Catrine (she's been so tough to find) and Jinafire.

THEY WILL BE MINE, MUWHAHAHAHA.
if you live near a b&n check there. i've seen quite of few jinafires at them lately.

I've noticed this as well! Kinda odd, but I won't complain. I was very close to buying her the other day, but I only had so much to spend on dolls and well... Scaris Deuce was there. A few people have told me that if I see him I should grab him up. I did just that!

I do like him but if I'm honest I could see myself selling or trading him at some point! I haven't even taken him out of the box, haha.

Skelita was my first doll. First thing I did was remove her clothing so i could check her out. The rib boobs make me laugh but her skeletal body is so detailed for a simple fashion doll.
I made her a ruffeled skirt and tube top so you can see her non-existent mid-driff  I originally bought her thinking I could play with making clothes and then sell her when I got bored but i'm pretty attached now.
One disapointment is she has this major bald spot on the right side of her head. I think it's meant to be covered by the "ponytail" but it's not  :(

Ugh, that sucks. :( I hate when I find those kinds of flaws on my dolls. Perhaps there's a tutorial on how to fix that? I would like to hope so.

The rib boobs are pretty dang funny. I remember staring and thinking, "Oh, well then".  That being said the details on her are wicked cool. I absolutely love her to pieces.

Ok, this is going to sound reallllllly weird but..

Do you have any nude pics?

I want to see how she differs from the other dolls. I had just thought that her forelegs and forearms were bony.

I wouldn't mind getting some pics of her for you! I've been away from home for a couple of months now on a little vacation so getting hold on a camera (forgot to bring mine) has been difficult. I would be happy to get them for you as soon as I do though!

Congratulaitoins and hope you really enjoy her.  I was really back and forth on whether I liked Skelita or not.  I knew I loved her clothes (wanted them for my Swim Line Venus), so first I bought just the clothes off e-bay.  But I still kept thinking about and eyeballing Skelita in stores.  A couple of weeks ago I got a gift certificate to Target for my b-day, saw there was only one on the shelf so I decided what the heck and got her as her hair and makeup looked to be perfect.

I was not prepared for how much I would love this doll.  Like most of you I undressed her first chance I got and was really impressed with her body, and had to giggle when I saw the rib boobs (very ingenious for making clothes fit).  Most of my dolls I keep in stock clothing, others I find the perfect outfit for and then put them on display, but not Skelita.  This is the one doll I really play with LOL.  She gest her clothes changed almost daily.  I put her clear body shell back in its box and let Skeli show off her bones.  She looks adorable in the latest Lagoona and Draculara fashion pack dresses, and the clear blue shoes from the Lagoona fashion pack look amazing accenting her feet and winding up her leg bones.  The Scaris Cleo dress (with the Lagoona fashion pack shoes) also looks fantastic on her if you want a more sophisticated and Scarisian look to her.  When dressed in those outfits she looks terrific sitting down with one arm a bit bahind her, one bent at the elbow as if she is running her fingers through her hair as you can appreciate many of her skeletal details  :P

What can I say, she really brings out my inner child LOL

Isn't she wonderful? The details on her blow me away. I didn't expect her to look so amazing! I have to say that I'm tempted to leave her undressed so that I can look up at the shelf and stare at her! I'll definitely buy some fashion packs and dress her up in some new outfits. She's easily one of my favorites when it comes to playing around with my MH dolls.

I managed to get my hands on a camera so expect some pics coming in tonight! I think someone here asked about some pics of Skelita actually! I'll get those up asap.

Also, Happy LATE Birthday!! I hope it was a good one.

This is the collection so far! It's small but growing at a steady pace. I figured I'd show them all off while I was at it.

I'm so jealous you have Skelita! I remember being beyond envious in the store. :') She's beyond gorgeous. Everything about that character is sweet and interesting. The detail when you take off her clothes is fascinating. I'm surprised they did that for a child's doll! When I saw her at Walmart today, it was super tempting, but my eyes were so focused on that other doll... Anyways, at least since we live together, I can still see her all the time, even if she's not mine. Your collection is great. :P One day I'll be that cool.

I didn't really care for MH dolls until this! I love the way she looks.

Does anyone think she kind of looks like young Fran Drescher? Haha!

Or a very very old Fran. :)

I love her los dias de los muertos theme! Especially her papel pica skirt.

Here's a pic of her in an updo:

Not very good, but maybe it will inspire others? (sorry for the huge pic, not sure how to reduce it on phone)

Her stock outfit is gorgeous, but I have to say I like it even more on my Venus Swim Line with the Swim line shoes LOL.  For some reason I love Skelita in litte sundresses.. The line of them seem to really fall beautifully on Skeli's body (without the plastic body cover) and you can see a bit of her chest and her neck which is amazingly detailed.  She just looks so dainty and sweet.  Wish they would make a Skelita fashion pack with a sundress (styled like the Lagoona one) with a material that has marigolds (flower used on Day of the Dead altars), trimmed in the lime green of her stock shoes, and include some lime green clear plastic shoes that have that tie thing going up the leg (basically a redo of the Lagoona set).  As an accessory to that imaginary pack I would like them to include her pet butterfly LOL.  Ok perhaps I should head back over to the wish list thread LOL.  If only I were a seamstress or Matel executive LOL.

I just saw the Scaris City epsiode and I had to get a Skelita, so I bought one from Target.

I have to say, the plastic inserts from fashion packs are wonderful to have with Skelita.  I didn't want to cut down the one that came with the doll, so I trimmed away the "thigh" parts from one of the fashion pack inserts, and now I have a Skelita who can fill out her clothes and sit down at the same time. :)

She looks weird without the inserts though; her clothes tend to sink in around her middle and look really...off.

I took her insert out first time I undressed her and have never used it again   Some clothes I think look even cuter on her than other dolls because they fasten a little tighter.  She looks adorable in sun dresses  :P
