Price Check please!! Lagoona blue
« on: May 20, 2013, 02:59:07 PM »
Price check please!! I recently purchased a W1 Lagoona Blue, but am not entirely happy with her, and since she isn't complete, I wanted to divide up and sell her stock, rather than try and sell her in one big lump. I don't want to charge scalper prices, but I don't want to cheat myself, and I would like to at least break even!

I have

Lagoona (obviously)
Neptuna
Fishbowl Purse
Shorts
Jacket
Body suit
Necklace
Shoes
Journal
Both leg fins
Teal/seafoam green stand
(MIGHT BE GETTING) a white pearly stand

Based on what I see on ebay, I'm guessing this? Mind you I was looking in the SOLD listings, people have bought them for, or more than, this.

Lagoona (Nude) $15-$25
Neptuna $8-10
Fishbowl Purse $8-10
Shorts $6-$12
Jacket $7-$10
Body suit $12-$15
Necklace $5 - $10
Shoes $10- $15
Journal $4-$5
Both leg fins $4-$10
Teal/seafoam green stand ???
(MIGHT BE GETTING) a white pearly stand ???

Would these prices be unfair? Should I go lower?

It looks like you're trying to get between 80 and 130 dollars for your loose incomplete Lagoona separated into pieces.  I don't know what you paid, but that does seem rather expensive to me.  She's going on eBay loose but complete for around 40 to 50 dollars and I personally just bought one for 30.

If you're trying to maximize profits by selling her in pieces you run the risk of only selling a bit of her and stuck with an even more incomplete doll.  I would try and sell her whole and just ask for what you paid so that you don't loose out on her.  But that is just my opinion.

And I respect your opinion, :) But I know that there are a lot of people who are missing pieces of their own dolls, so I would like to help complete that if I could, instead of just putting out another incomplete doll into the world, without cutting myself short and losing profit. As I said, the prices I posted was what the pieces were going for on Ebay, I would charge at the low end of the spectrum, and probably even less than that.

$60 is the least I would like to sell her for, because after shipping, that is about the amount I paid for her.

I would try to recoup what you spent on her. I'm not sure you'd get everything to sell if you broke it down that way, but signature Lagoona is very sought after, so it's possible!

P.S. I love your avatar! Did you create that yourself?
